Horse Barns

Historic Barns or Just Favorite Horse Buildings.

Well here is a horse-chat topic we can all relate to. Do you have a special barn or stable where you just love to go? Have you visited a real special stable on a vacation or trip abroad? Is there a farm building or place that you just love? Share it with us here and lets get a lively chat started.

This is a picture of a barn in Italy that I ran across strolling through the countryside of Tuscany. It was not in use at the time. I thought I would hunt down the owner anyway and see if he would let me take a peek inside. When I found him, he was quite amusing that I was intrigued with his old barn. Never-the-less he allowed me to go and explore.

I came across this picture accidently, just recently, and the wonderful memories it brought back encouraged me to add it as a horse chat topic. The inside of the 300 year old building was filled with old horse equipment, harnesses and antique furniture. I spent hours exploring, trying to imagine this building in years gone by.
