Horse-Health-Kit

It is good advise to keep a first aid kit ( I like to call it a Horse-health-kit) handy for your horse at all times. Put one in your tack room and another in the trailer this way you will never be likely to be caught empty handed. Make sure and refill it after each time you use it. Also check periodically that the medicines are not outdated.
